Every little thing counts when it comes to fight against acne and keep it under control. After all, zits are not that big themselves, they just bug us in a big way. We do not always realize that seemingly insignificant things can help us look better (or worse, depending on what they are), then intentionally following myths, we do more harm than good to the skin.
Here are some points to consider if you do not want those buttons pop up.
DO:
= Clean your face twice a day. Use a cleaner designed for your skin type and avoid harsh and irritating products. When cleaning your skin and rinse with water (make sure to use a lot!) = If you work in sweat, clean your face after exercising.

= Wash your hair regularly. Sebaceous glands produce sebum scalp as in your face. Add the hair of waste products for environmental care and the elements that stick to your hair - and you have a very efficient solution that cause acne.
= Drink lots of water to cleanse the body of toxins and keeps your skin hydrated from the inside.
= Take vitamins and a healthy diet. People who suffer from acne are often not enough vitamin A in their diets (you can consult your doctor about this and that large doses of vitamin A can be toxic). Zinc supplements are known to fight acne outbreaks. Healthy eating is good for all parts of your body. While diet changes alone will not save you from acne, which will help your skin look better.
= See a doctor if your acne is severe.
DO NOT:
= Do not use drying cleansers and scrubs aggressive. They destroy the protective barrier and alter skin pH, making skin vulnerable and prone to infection. Astringents should be used on oily areas only.
= Do not press the buttons. This is the worst thing to do, and for many the most difficult to avoid. However, if you do not want to worsen, do not choose your buttons. You can, however, drain with a sterilized needle once they are mature.
= Do not scratch or rub the skin. Sometimes rubbing can cause pimples otherwise clear complexion. You might want to try, if you're brave enough, otherwise try to keep your hands away from face and avoid wearing hats, helmets or bands, which can cause unpleasant surprises.
= Do not sunbathe. While tanning hides imperfections, the effect is temporary. Excessive sun exposure can aggravate acne. Many over-the-counter and prescription acne products make your skin sensitive to sunlight.
